EPA/HEPA/ULPA Filters

Air filters are one of the crucial elements of every HVAC system and are applicable in vast number of industries and facilities such as:

  • Food and Beverage
  • Healthcare
  • Industrial
  • Microelectronics
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Microelectronics
  • Schools and Universities
  • Data Centers
  • Commercial Buildings and many more.

In the air filtration industry there are mainly three types of air filters confirmed by various certification bodies and one of types is most commonly known as HEPA filters or High efficiency particulate arrestance filters.

Filters meeting the HEPA standard must satisfy certain levels of efficiency. Common standards require that a HEPA air filter must remove—from the air that passes through—at least 99.95% (European Standard)[4] or 99.97% (ASME, U.S. DOE)[5][6] of particles whose diameter is equal to 0.3 μm; with the filtration efficiency increasing for particle diameters both less than and greater than 0.3 μm.[7]

However, the industry is familiar with even more efficient air filters known as ULPA - "Ultra Low Particulate Air (filter)".

An ULPA filter can remove from the air at least 99.999% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and any airborne particles with a minimum particle penetration size of 100 nanometres (0.1 µm). A ULPA filter can remove (to a large extent, not 100%) – oil smoke, tobacco smoke, rosin smoke, smog, insecticide dust.

We are providing high quality HEPA/ULPA/EPA filters mainly manufactured by our partner in the industry - AAF as well as BWF and PALL.
