Hyspin AWS

Castrol Hyspin™ AWS hydraulic oil range is based upon highly refined mineral oil enhanced with a stabilised zinc additive system.

Hyspin AWS has been specially formulated to provide good anti-wear and thermal stability performance using proven additive technology. The careful blend of additives with a high quality base stock ensures that Hyspin AWS has excellent hydrolytic and oxidative stability while exhibiting a minimal tendency to produce sludge and deposits.

Hyspin AWH-M

The Castrol Hyspin™ AWH-M hydraulic oils are a range of shear stable high viscosity index lubricants.

Hyspin AWH-M contains a shear stable additive system which helps maintain the viscosity characteristics of the product over a wide temperature range, even during prolonged use, and imparts a very low pour point which enables the product to be used in very cold environments. It exhibits very good corrosion and wear protection as well as good thermal and oxidative stability. In addition, Hyspin AWH-M is stable in the presence of water and separates water contamination rapidly upon standing.

Hyspin ZZ

The Castrol Hyspin™ ZZ hydraulic oil range of lubricants are based on a carefully selected ashless (zinc free) additive system designed to meet and exceed the most exacting performance standards.

The Hyspin ZZ range are formulated for applications requiring anti-wear and superior oxidation performance and are particularly suitable for hydraulic systems using vane and piston pumps where elevated operating temperatures are encountered. They are formulated for use in severely stressed systems in which high levels of anti-wear performance and/or ultra fine filtration are required. They have been proven to be resistant to the effects of ‘dieseling’ in highly stressed systems such as plastic injection moulding and fatigue testing equipment where the application leads to rapid breakdown of more conventional products.

Hyspin HVI 46 D

Castrol Hyspin™ HVI 46 D (previously called Vario HDX) is a high performance machine tool lubricant, developed to conform to the HLP-D (detergent) classification for hydraulic fluids.

Castrol Hyspin HVI 46 D also incorporates lubricity additives to give smooth slideway motion on the combined hydraulic and slideway lubrication systems of some grinding and gear cutting machine tools. Castrol HLP-D fluids contain detergency additives which maintain dirt and oil oxidation products in suspension, preventing them from settling out and forming deposits which could impair the free operation of valves, leading to erratic system operation. Machine tool manufacturer's are increasingly specifying HLP-D fluids such as Hyspin HVI 46 D, having recognised their advantages in increased system reliability.

Hyspin DSP

The Castrol Hyspin™ DSP Range are Zinc free Extreme Pressure and Antiwear hydraulic oil based on mineral oil.

Optileb HY

Optileb HY™ are food grade hydraulic oils with NSF-H1 approval, especially developed to meet the special requirements of the food and beverage industries. Optileb HY hydraulic oils comply with and even exceed DIN 51524 part 2 for HLP hydraulic oils.

Performance BIO HE ESU Range

The Castrol Performance™ Bio HE ESU hydraulic oil range (previously called Carelube™ HES) are based on carefully selected synthetic esters, which are highly biodegradable and recommended for use in situations where leakage or spillage may present a risk of harm to the environment.

Performance Bio HE ESU Range is used as a hydraulic oil for applications in environmentally sensitive areas such as; near or on waterways, and in the agriculture, forestry, mining and construction industries. The range may also be used for machine tool hydraulic systems where ester based soluble cutting fluids are being utilised and minimisation of impact of contamination is required.
